HOTEL OPENINGS MANAGER

WOTELS is a young, dynamic chain of Hotels & Hostels expanding across Portugal! With ambitious plans for the future, we are looking for a Hotel Openings Manager to lead our new openings and ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Our mission is to provide multi-faceted, safe, and vibrant accommodations, fostering unique and enriching experiences for our guests.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for detail, an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent project management skills, experience in openings, and a strong desire to contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of new hotel openings, from pre-opening to soft and commercial opening.
• Coordinate with HR, Commercial, and Finance departments to ensure effective and timely planning.
• Lead the procurement process with key suppliers for the new unit.
• Contribute to the development of the go-to-market strategy and implement operational standards across new units.
• Oversee hiring and training for new hotel teams, ensuring they are well-prepared from day one.
• Monitor pre-opening budgets and ensure all procedures reflect WOTELS’ values.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders and provide regular updates to the central team and management on project progress.
• Ensure smooth integration of new hotels into daily operations, providing consistent support during the after-care phase.
• Build and maintain strong, balanced relationships with suppliers and partners.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Education and experience in hotel management and opening new units.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Proactivity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to excellence.

• Location: Nationwide, with availability for frequent travel throughout Portugal – ideally based in Lisbon.

Sobre a função:

• O estágio em vendas oferece uma experiência de aprendizagem abrangente, concebida para lhe dar a conhecer as principais áreas do departamento. Desde reservas individuais a reservas de grupo, e-commerce e campanhas promocionais, terá uma ideia de como funciona uma equipa de vendas bem-sucedida na indústria hoteleira.
  

Principais responsabilidades:

• Como estagiário de vendas, trabalhará em estreita colaboração com a nossa equipa experiente e estará envolvido em:
  Reservas de clientes particulares: Ajudar a gerir as reservas individuais dos hóspedes, aprender os fundamentos da gestão das relações com os clientes e adaptar as experiências às necessidades dos hóspedes.
• Reservas de grupos: Apoiar a equipa com reservas de grupos, incluindo reservas de empresas, lazer e eventos.
• E-commerce: Promoção: Ajudar a criar, planear e implementar campanhas promocionais para aumentar as reservas durante as épocas altas e baixas. Colaborar com o marketing para conceber campanhas específicas e acompanhar o seu impacto.
  

Requisitos:

• Mestrado em Hotelaria, Turismo ou áreas semelhantes.
• Paixão por viagens e excelente capacidade de atendimento ao cliente.
• Forte capacidade de organização e comunicação.
• Conhecimentos básicos de reservas e comércio eletrónico são uma vantagem!
• Proactivo, adaptável e com vontade de aprender.
• Legível para Estágio Profissional - IEFP +Talento
  

CONDIÇÕES

• Horário de 40h semanais, de 2ª a 6ª feira
• 6 meses contrato de estágio de acordo com os valores IEFP
• Bolsa de estágio
• Subsídio de Alimentação

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

We are recruiting for the position of Financial Controller for our Finance department.

What will be your main responsibilities/functions?

• Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of annual general and partial budgets for the company's activities (hotel units);
• Drawing up control charts;
• Calculating costs for products/services and departments within the company;
• Analysing deviations in the financial year in relation to the budget and ascertaining their origin;
• Critically analysing the company's operational activity;
• Implement robust and reliable internal control systems;
• Focus on automating processes, allowing greater dedication to qualitative analyses.

What are we looking for?

• Higher education in Economics/Management/Accounting;
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role;
• Office skills (in-depth knowledge of Excel);
• Knowledge of Primavera is valued;
• Good knowledge of English;
• Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills;
• Dynamism, proactivity, resilience and adaptability;
• High analytical skills and ability to find solutions;

• Complying with internal rules and procedures

• Experience and training in the area

• Availability for rotating shifts

Our mission is to offer versatile, clean, and safe accommodation in spaces with their own unique atmosphere, where guest interaction is encouraged.

We are looking for fun, responsible, and enthusiastic individuals who are ready to grow and develop their careers with us!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Following rules and procedures in a constructive and positive manner;
• Responding to emergency requests from the Reception and Coordination teams;
• Carrying out the daily/weekly cleaning plan assigned by the Coordination team;
• Keeping your workspace and cleaning materials organized and tidy;
• Identifying material needs weekly and communicating them to the Coordination team
• Detecting and reporting any anomalies to the Coordination team.

• Part-time: 4 hours per day (7 PM to 11 PM);
• Fixed days off: Monday and Tuesday.
